Product Update - Applicant Tracking

Earlier this year we released an updated version of our Applicant Tracking System. Clients using ATS now have a new dashboard that displays pertinent hiring information and provides a more structured timeline that is customizable to your specific process. 

The dashboard hosts information such as ‘Average Days to Hire’, ‘Turnover Percentage’, ‘Rejection Reasons’, and more. These statistics are designed to help HR and hiring managers forecast more accurately and tweak their process to be as efficient as possible.

Skilled Trades: Now & Then 

Dominion Systems is excited to be partnering with Amy Marshall from Management Business Solutions. Amy will be presenting on ‘Skilled Trades: Now & Then - What you need to know for your business to prosper’.

Upcoming Software Features - Onboarding

Here is a sneak preview of our onboarding feature we are currently working on. Onboarding will allow all information gathered during the hiring process to be transferred directly into the employee’s portal. This allows us to further streamline hiring and cut down on extra steps for the employee and employer. Set up the hiring workflow, assign tasks to everyone part of the hiring process, qualify candidates and host all important employee new hire documents in one centralized hub.

You can expect to see more updates and sneak previews as we continue to build out the platform.

New Employees

Abigail & Claire - Please join us in welcoming Dominion’s newest employees, Claire Manz and Abigail McClung! Claire came to Dominion from HUB International where she worked as an Employee Benefits Specialist. Given Claire’s background we thought she would be a great addition to our Professional Services team. 

Abigail is our new UI/UX Designer and will be a big part in continuing to develop our software to meet your HR wants and needs. Before joining our team, Abigail worked at Atomic Object and was involved in UI/UX as well. 

Group Scheduling

Dominion clients who use Time & Attendance now have access to new scheduling features. Scheduling now contains three options: ‘Quick Schedule’, ‘Company Schedules’, and ‘Group Scheduling’. What is now called ‘Quick Schedule’ will serve the same purpose that ‘Group Scheduling’ traditionally served. The only real change is the new ‘Group Scheduling’ feature. ‘Group Scheduling’ now breaks down into two parts: ‘Planner’ and ‘Scheduler’. 

The Planner allows upper management to plan the schedule and create time slots for various departments. For example, management can decide how many people are needed on a given day and at what times. 

The Scheduler allows for managers and those who draft employee schedules to fill open slots within the schedule. Managers can simply click an open time slot and assign it to an employee by clicking the employee’s name. Once the schedule is done the manager will save and publish it in order to make it viewable by employees.
