Dominion Systems Redesigns Leave Management System, Increases Usability

Grand Rapids, MI - Dominion Systems, a Grand Rapids based software company, redesigned the leave management portion of their employee self-service software. This update pushes a new user interface by incorporating a dashboard-like feature that highlights employee time off in sub-sections.

While the functionality of the software has always been there, the user interface refresh has been able to bring a simplified approach to the usability of the overall product.

“The idea was to present the information in a way that is functional as well as visually pleasing. I think the new dashboard feature and break-down of time off achieves that.” – Jud Highhill, CEO of Dominion Systems.

Leave management has many features including:

  • Easy to use, web-based platform
  • Dashboard summary showcasing time off hours left
  • Categorized time off such as paid time off, unpaid time off, sick time, etc.
  • Ability to view time off in real time

Leave management is a part of the employee self-service software, a portal where employees can access information such as pay stubs, W-2s, request time off, and etc.
