Every year the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) gathers workforce data from employers that have more than 100 employees. If an employer meets this threshold they have a legal obligation to provide data to the EEOC where they will then use this information in a number of different ways such as enforcement, self-assessment by employers, and research.
Employers with more than 100 employees are required to file their information with the EEOC by September 30, 2016 at the very latest. While Dominion has had an EEOC Reporting feature to help companies track certain information needed by the EEOC, we are excited to announce a new feature called EEOC Filing which will allow you to generate a file straight from your employee information to submit to the EEOC.
If you wish to use this feature please notify us, as we will have to make it available for you within your instance of the software. Once made available, you will be able to access the feature by going to Company → Import/Export → EEOC Export. Please remember that if you do not call us to express interest you will not have this feature available.
Before you begin the process, you must visit the EEOC’s website and register for a login if you have not already done so. Doing this will provide you will necessary information you need to generate your file within our software.
